Terms of Service for StockMetric

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the StockMetric Android application and official website. By using StockMetric, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must use StockMetric lawfully and in accordance with applicable rules in your location. StockMetric is intended for adults capable of understanding financial calculation assumptions and risks.

You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, overload, scrape, circumvent security or rate limits, forge entitlement status, misuse application-integrity controls, or use the service to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

2. Calculation and educational tool only

StockMetric provides mathematical, scenario-planning, and educational tools. It does not provide individualized financial, legal, accounting, tax, brokerage, or investment advice. It does not recommend securities or instruct you to buy, sell, subscribe, hold, or exercise rights.

StockMetric does not execute trades, hold funds or securities, connect to your brokerage account, guarantee market data, or monitor your portfolio.

3. User responsibility and assumptions

Results depend on the values and assumptions you enter. Actual outcomes may differ because of market movement, liquidity, slippage, fees, taxes, corporate actions, rounding, regulation, broker rules, currency conversion, timing, or other factors.

You are responsible for checking inputs, interpreting results, verifying important information independently, and deciding whether to seek advice from a qualified professional. Never make a financial decision solely because of a StockMetric result.

4. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, compliance, service-provider changes, or product development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available service.

Network failures, device conditions, third-party outages, security checks, or rate limits may prevent a calculation or subscription verification from completing. If an advertisement is unavailable, the application is designed to allow an eligible calculation result to remain accessible.

5. Advertising

The free application may display banner and interstitial advertising through Google AdMob, subject to consent and privacy requirements. Advertising content is provided by third parties. An advertisement does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by StockMetric.

6. Premium subscription

Premium removes StockMetric banner and interstitial advertisements while the subscription entitlement is verified as active. It does not lock or unlock the calculator algorithms.

Google Play presents the applicable price and currency before purchase and handles payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and related billing matters. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through Google Play in accordance with the terms shown at purchase. Removing the application does not necessarily cancel a subscription.

If entitlement cannot be verified, StockMetric may temporarily show a checking or error state rather than trusting a client-side Premium claim. Use the restore function or Google Play subscription management when necessary.

7. Intellectual property

StockMetric, its original interface, branding, text, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application for personal lawful purposes. Third-party libraries, services, trademarks, and content remain subject to their respective rights and licenses.

8. Third-party services

StockMetric depends on services provided by Google Play, Google AdMob, Firebase, and Google Cloud. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockMetric is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, profitability, availability, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockMetric and its developer will not be liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, tax outcomes, business interruption, data loss, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Subscription cancellation must be completed through Google Play.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the application, business model, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will be published with an updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

13. Governing principles

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections and rights in your country remain unaffected. Before public launch, the developer should obtain local legal advice if a specific governing-law or dispute forum clause is desired.
